Ethiopian Airlines has now started to sell tickets for the route between Addis Ababa and Atlanta in the United States. The flights are due to launch on the 16th of May, using a two class Boeing B787-9 with a total of 315 seats.
It is understood that the flight will make a tech stop for refuelling in Dublin / Republic of Ireland enroute to Atlanta but will return to Addis Ababa nonstop.
The service will initially operate four times a week, leaving Addis every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday while the return flights will leave Atlanta every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
