ETHIOPIAN AIRLINES FIRST FROM AFRICA TO RETURN TO SEYCHELLES
(Posted 15th July 2020)
Following the resumption of flights from Addis Ababa to Dubai, Jeddah, Riyadh, Djibouti, Douala and Yaounde has Africa’s leading airline earlier today announced their return to the paradise islands of the Seychelles.
Air traffic can resume, as per government announcement in Victoria, on the 01st of August and Ethiopian will be the first African airline to resume services to Mahe.
Prior to the outbreak of the pandemic did Ethiopian fly daily between Addis Ababa and Mahe and information is awaited how many flights per week will operate, given the continued airport closures in a number of key source countries for tourists visiting the Seychelles.
Ethiopian Airlines, out of 127 destinations served prior to #COVID19, is returning as of today to 42 destinations and the Seychelles will bring this number to 43.
