ETHIOPIAN AIRLINES TO START NON STOP FLIGHTS TO ZANZIBAR IN JUNE
(Posted 24th February 2019)
Ethiopian Airlines will, effective 16th of June this year, delink their present Addis Ababa – Kilimanjaro – Zanzibar flight and begin to serve each of the two Tanzanian airports with nonstop flights.
Zanzibar will see daily flights as will Kilimanjaro, testament to risen demand for both destinations.
Safari tourists as well as beach tourists can from June reach these destinations from across the ET global network with one stop in Addis Ababa, a stop made substantially more tolerable since the new terminal was opened a few weeks ago.
The route to Zanzibar will see a Boeing B737-800NG in the airline’s typical two class cabin layout deployed while Kilimanjaro will, depending on load, see a mix of either the smaller Boeing B737 or the larger B787 Dreamliner carry out the flights.
