ETHIOPIAN SEEMS TO BE TREADING SOFTLY SOFTLY ON JOHANNESBURG TO LOME ROUTING

Without much fanfare and certainly no answer to the question asked of Ethiopian Airlines has a flight routing appeared in global reservation systems, which suggests that come the 09th of April will Ethiopian Airlines commence flights between Johannesburg and Lome.
The flights listed as ET 858 JNB LFW and the return sector ET 859 LFW JNB suggest that an incoming service from Addis Ababa will then continue to the capital of Togo three times a week, using a Boeing B737-800NG for the operation. Traffic days are shown as Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.Unusually was the regular PR blitz missing from the scene and it is not clear why the airline opted to remain silent over it, hopefully not indicating that the crucial fifth freedom rights are still not tied up.
