#EWAAIR SET FOR TWO MORE #ATR72-600’S

Ewa Air, the home airline of the French Indian Ocean island region of Mayotte, has confirmed that an agreement has been reached with ATR for the delivery of two ATR72-600 aircraft. Delivery is due before the end of the year and the new aircraft will then allow to return two ATR72-500’s to Air Austral of Reunion Island – another French region in the Indian Ocean, which is one of the airline’s major shareholders.
Ewa Air flies from Mayotte to Pemba in Mozambique, to Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, to Moroni and Anjouan in the Comoros and to Antananarivo, Nosy Be, Mahajanga and Antsiranana in Madagascar.
Ewa Air is also cooperating with the new domestic airline Tsaradia on Madagascar as was reported here a few days ago.
