#KIGOMA FLIGHTS BY FASTJET TO LAUNCH ON MARCH 01ST

Effective 01st of March will Fastjet (T) add the western Tanzanian town of Kigoma to their domestic network.
Kigoma’s airport, IATA code TKQ and ICAO code HTKA, is located at an elevation of 2.700 feet or 823 metres above sea level and has a paved runway 15/33 of 1.805 metres or 5.922 feet length.
Launch fares, one way, were given as 123.000 Tanzania Shillings and flights will initially be operated three times a week, on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Tickets go on sale as of today, 29th of January and are available online, through the Fastjet ticket offices and through reservation systems to which Fastjet is linked.
Presently are Precision Air and Auric Air offering scheduled services to Kigoma and the entry of Fastjet is expected to bring about pressure on the fares charged for the route.
