FASTJET’S ZIMBABWE OPERATIONS SET TO BENEFIT FROM SECOND ERJ145

Fastjet Zimbabwe has received a second Embraer ERJ145 from partner Solenta Aviation in South Africa and is preparing to enter the new aircraft into service.
As a result has an announcement gone out already that the suspended Johannesburg to Victoria Falls flights will resume, again offering three flights a week to start with.
Also will flights between Johannesburg and Harare increase from three to four a day (three on Saturdays) while the Harare to Victoria Falls flights will increase from the present six to nine a week with two departures on offer on Friday and Sunday to facilitate additional weekend travel.
For Fastjet Tanzania’s Airbus is the clock now also actively running down as the last of an initial fleet of as many of five A319’s is due to leave the fleet in September when two Embraer E195’s are due to join, able to once again offer a full service schedule from Dar es Salaam to Kilimanjaro, Mwanza and Mbeya but also to Lusaka, Harare and Johannesburg.
