KIGOMA FIRST DESTINATION FOR FASTJET’S NEW ATR-72

Fastjet has now added the Tanzanian town of Kigoma, IATA code TKQ, to their drop down menu of destinations which can be reached from Dar es Salaam.
It is expected to go operational when the new ATR72-600 has been cleared for operations and although the new destination cannot be booked as yet will bookings no doubt open soon.
The airline has changed course over the past year in regard of rightsizing their fleet by disposing of their last Airbus A319’s, once their workhorse aircraft, and introduced Embraer E190’s and Embraer E145’s with the ATR turboprop the latest addition to the fleet.
