The UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office has finally amended their travel advisory for South Western Uganda as follows:

FCDO no longer advise against all but essential travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, the area immediately south-west of Kasese town, or to Semuliki National Park (‘Regional risks’ page).
