Financing, ESG, Construction Costs,New Technologies and Attracting Talentto be discussed at AHIF 2023
Last week, we held an extended advisory meeting in Nairobi to discuss and shape the programme for the Africa Hospitality Investment Forum (AHIF) 2023.
From the discussions it was clear that there is much to discuss as an industry with a shared optimism for the opportunities ahead but also a realisation for the challenges ahead.
Topics such as global developments, tourism trends, sustainability, future talent, branding, financing, the impact of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance), how to reduce operating costs to offset rising inflation, product lifecycle (from an investor point of view), local supplier engagement, Africa trade agreements and public sector involvement in hospitality were among the topics brought to the surface as key areas of interest to be discussed during AHIF 2023.
