Fire at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport shuts down Terminal 1E

An electrical fire caused Terminal 1E of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to be shut down for operations earlier today.

The Kenya Airports Authority moved all passengers and traffic to Terminal 1A.

It is understood that the airport fire brigade brought the fire under control and that no injuries to passengers or staff were reported.
