PRECISION AIR TAKES UGANDAN TRAVEL AGENTS TO ZANZIBAR TO PROMOTE THEIR NEW ROUTE
(Posted 10th July 2017)
After launching the Dar es Salaam – Kilimanjaro – Entebbe route on the 01st of July has Precision Air and their PSA in Kampala, Uganda Travel Bureau, wasted no time to put promotional efforts into overdrive.
First out of the starting blocks was a media team from Uganda, flying with the airline to and from Dar es Salaam before exploring the Serena hotels in Dar, on Zanzibar and the two safari properties in the Selous.
On Saturday last week did a group of Ugandan travel agents follow suit when they flew via Dar es Salaam to Zanzibar with Precision Air, where the Blue Bay Resorts hosted them for a weekend of exploration and discovery, before returning today once again to Kampala.
Direct flights were demanded by the market as connecting via secondary hubs proved to be cumbersome for business and leisure travelers and the four times a week flights – the airline has already expressed its desire to go daily when passenger numbers permit – finally offer a nonstop service to Kilimanjaro and a direct flight on to Dar es Salaam where arriving passengers from Entebbe then clear customs and immigration.
With the launch fare just costing US Dollars 320 – over a third of this by the way are taxes and regulatory fees to put this in some perspective – is the uptake of seats on the route no doubt going to be strong, as Ugandans and Tanzanians can once again enjoy direct travel.
