(Posted 21st July 2018)

Pride Inn, a homegrown group of hotels in Kenya, has in recent years made a name for itself for its determined move into the conferencing market in both Nairobi and Mombasa.
With three properties in the Westlands area of Nairobi, Pride Inn Business Raphta, Pride Inn Lantana and Pride Inn Business Westlands is the group capturing the meeting market in Nairobi’s second CBD while at the coast until now four more properties offered similar services all the way from Diani to north of Mombasa in Shanzu.
Those are located in Ukunda / Diani with the Pride Inn Express Diani, the city of Mombasa itself with the Pride Inn Mombasa and sister properties Pride Inn Express in Nyali and Pride Inn Plus Paradise – the groups largest unit so far – with a large number of conference rooms, 11 to be precise sitting between 20 to 2.000 delegates besides 300 rooms and suites.
This has turned Pride Inns into one of Kenya’s foremost conferencing hotel groups.

Just completed now was the acquisition of the former African Safari Club property Flamingo Beach which will undergo rebranding in due course while – as seen during an inspection of the premises yesterday – significant maintenance and refurbishment work is ongoing ahead of the next high season.
It is expected that the new acquisition, also of course featuring conferencing facilities already and located within walking distance from the Pride Inn Paradise in Shanzu, will be integrated into the company’s main website over the coming weeks and become an integral part of the marketing of MICE offerings at the Kenya coast.
