FlyDubai expands Russia network

MORE CONNECTIVITY TO UGANDA AS FLYDUBAI ADDS THREE DESTINATIONS IN RUSSIA

(Posted 25th July 2017)

FlyDubai will see their Russian network grow to 10 destinations when in October this year three more cities come on line for the Dubai based low cost carrier, of late more closely associated with ‘senior cousin‘ Emirates.
In the fourth quarter of this year, flydubai will commence flights to Makhachkala and Voronezh. Flights to Makhachkala and Voronezh will operate twice a week starting October 31st and October 29th respectively.
Services to Ufa will relaunch on October 31st with three flights a week. Flydubai said it will be the only UAE-based carrier offering direct air links on those routes. With onward flights to Uganda and Tanzania, where the airline serve Entebbe, Kilimanjaro International, Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar, will this make travel by Russians seeking more affordable airfares to East Africa easier, benefitting the tourism industries in these two countries.
While FlyDubai some time ago received traffic rights into Mombasa are those flights still to be confirmed.
