Flights from Dubai to Switzerland’s Basel-Mulhouse open wide parts of Europe for cost effective travel to (and from) East Africa evading often crippling ticket prices on other carriers
Uganda is now within a 1 stop reach from large parts of Southern Germany, Eastern France and Switzerland
News have emerged that Fly Dubai, the Emirates’ low cost carrier based in Dubai, is now flying to the EuroAirport in Basel, a city close to both the German and French border.
Since early August can travelers from those parts of Europe finally use a cost effective way of travel to destinations in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and beyond in Africa, to where FlyDubai offers connections.
Their Boeing B737Max8 aircraft, which is deployed on this route, offer both economy class – with 156 seats – but notably also a business class cabin – with 10 flatbed seats – the latter for travelers seeking to travel in greater comfort and enjoying a full inflight service at affordable ticket prices.
The new route to Switzerland is presently being served on four days a week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday but once the route has been taken up by the market are daily flight connections on the drawing board.
This means also that travelers from the Eastern African destinations Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania of FlyDubai can now equally enjoy affordable ticket prices when traveling to Europe and with Switzerland being part of the Schengen area and agreements is no added Visa needed for visits to Europe.
