France meets Kenya at the Nairobi Serena’s Mandhari Restaurant

Aficionados of fine cuisine, especially French cuisine, have much to look forward to in Nairobi, as the Nairobi Serena Hotel will feature the Michelin star rated chef Arnaud Fayne from the highly acclaimed Auberge du Jeu de Paume at their Mandhari Restaurant from 22nd to 24th of January.

This will be the fourth time that Serena Hotels will be hosting a French Food Festival at their flagship Nairobi Serena Hotel and with just 8 days to go, now that the news are out, bookings are already pouring in from the culinary who is who in Nairobi as well as local food critics who will want to test the skills of the acclaimed chef. In-house guests and patrons from outside will once again have the unique chance to experience a gastronomic 4-course set menu at the Mandhari Restaurant and can then interact with this young charismatic Chef, whose visit is geared towards ensuring continuity in Serena’s objectives to offering the their faithful clientele the most exciting food festivals in the city.

(Chef Arnaud Faye is the Executive Chef at the new Auberge du Jeu de Paume, Relais & Châteaux. Over the years, he has worked with some of the biggest names in the hospitality industry including Michel Roth at the Ritz, Thierry Marx at the Mandarin Oriental, at the Relais Bernard Loiseau and now doing a guest appearance at the Nairobi Serena Hotel. He is known to be very passionate about his skills and prowess that in 2010, he finished top in Création et Saveurs competition, subsequently also winning one Michelin star in 2013)
