Ghana is poised to host the inaugural Creatives Connect Afrika 2025, an immersive forum and festival dedicated to celebrating Africa’s vibrant creative industries. With just one month remaining, this landmark event is set to take place from November 24 to 26, 2025, in the bustling capital city of Ghana, Acca.
The primary objective is to position Africa’s creative industries as essential drivers of inclusive economic growth and to act as a catalyst for intra-African trade within the framework of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
Organized by the AfCFTA Secretariat in collaboration with the Black Star Experience (BSE) in the Office of the President of Ghana and Africa Tourism Partners (ATP), the Creatives Connect Afrika Forum and Festival (www.creativesconnectafrika.com) aims to advance continental integration in tourism, creative, and cultural industries while promoting intra-African trade.
The program will include masterclasses, policy discussions, and matchmaking sessions designed to foster growth and partnerships among attendees. Speakers will consist of award-winning filmmakers, industry leaders, and policymakers who will engage in a series of enriching activities.
Delegates will include thought leaders from the tourism, creative, and cultural industries, as well as ministers, award-winning filmmakers, fashion houses, music production companies, producers, musicians, policymakers, creative entrepreneurs, investors, industry leaders, and youth from all sectors of African economies.
