The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is pleased to confirm that the Global Implementation Support Symposium (GISS), scheduled for 14 to 16 April 2026 in Marrakech, Morocco, is proceeding as planned. Preparations with our host, the Ministry of Transport and Logistics of the Kingdom of Morocco, continue on schedule.
We recognize that evolving regional circumstances and recent changes in airspace availability may affect travel planning for some participants. ICAO is monitoring developments closely and remains in regular contact with relevant partners.
To accommodate this, the registration deadline has been extended to 9 April 2026. Participants who may require additional time to finalize travel arrangements are encouraged to continue registering for the event through the GISS website. The ICAO team will remain flexible and will provide updates should any adjustments become necessary.
We look forward to welcoming participants to Marrakech for what promises to be an important opportunity for collaboration and exchange within the global aviation community.
