NATIONAL MUSEUM OF KENYA SIGNS MARKETING AND PR DEAL WITH ‘GO PLACES’

The National Museum of Kenya has yesterday signed a comprehensive deal with Go Places to market on of Kenya’s main tourist attractions and focal point of history and culture for the country.
The new deal is a continuation of now six years of cooperation and is expected to take the promotion of NMK to new levels.
Both parties, after signing the deal at the office of the National Museum of Kenya Director General Dr. Yassin Ahmed, issued the following statement:

Go Places Magazine, the flagship publication for Leisure and Travel Guides East Africa has sealed a continual partnership deal with the National Museums of Kenya (NMK) whereby Go Places will through its various digital and print platforms continue to disseminate information and other forms of marketing communication related to the museums and other heritage sites countrywide.
The long term deal penned by Go Places Group CEO , Mansoor Jiwani and the Director General of the National Museums of Kenya Dr. Ahmed Yassin marks a continuation of the business relationship that has lasted for the past six years.
The signing ceremony conducted at Dr. Yassin’s office at the NMK headquarters in Nairobi, asserts Go Places magazine’s position as being one of the pivotal channels in enabling NMK effectively undertake their core functions which include heritage, promotion, collection &documentation; research preservation and conservation.
NMK synthesizes the information generated from research and collections and presents the same to the public for the purpose of raising awareness and learning amongst the general population through exhibitions, education programmes and other multimedia channels.
