Grumeti Air flies you straight to the Ngorongoro Crater!

Dear ATCNews readers, friends and partners,
as we step into a 2020 that looks very exiting, Grumeti Air is proud to announce a new ground-breaking daily shared charter service, straight to the Ngorongoro rim, in the heart of NCAA.
The new route was successfully launched with an inaugural flight on Sunday, December 8th at the presence of tour operators and local authorities.
Until now the airstrip was used only on private charter basis. |

The perks of flying to the Ngorongoro airstrip!
Flying directly to the crater rim has several advantages over the traditional landing at Lake Manyara. Find out which ones, in a nutshell:
- guests staying at any of the properties on the rim or in the crater highlands will save 2/3 hours of transfer from Manyara.
- a scenic flight is included in the ticket by design! In one direction the aircraft will fly at low altitude over the stunning caldera and lake Magadi, in the other over the picturesque Masai villages in the area.
- the flight times (landing at 11:35, take off at 11:45) are designed to avoid the regular morning mist over the crater and, at the same time, allow for a relaxed transfer from the lodges, avoiding early morning pickups.
- being the airstrip only a few km from the Seneto descent gate, the flight times allow for a combination with a crater drive in the same day.
- passengers will enjoy a warm hospitality in a new Grumeti Air – run lounge, right at the airstrip.
- The flight continues with a direct connection to Sasakwa and Kogatende.
