HANDOVER CEREMONY AT RWANDAIR

Yesterday
morning did the outgoing Ag. Chief Executive Officer of RwandAir, Col. Chance Ndagano officially hand over office to Ms. Yvonne Manzi Makolo after her appointment as the new Chief Executive Officer of RwandAir last Friday.
The ceremony was witnessed by Minister of State in Charge of Transport at MININFRA Eng. Jean de Dieu Uwihanganye together with the RwandAir Vice-Chairperson of the Board, Eng. Patricie Uwase and members of the Senior Management team.
In his remarks, the outgoing CEO thanked the RwandAir management, the RwandAir Board of Directors and the staff in general for their support in all that the company had achieved in the past one year.
Col. Ndagano also commended the new CEO “I am very confident that Yvonne as someone I have been working together with, will carry on from here and make RwandAir a success” he said. He added that the board members and senior management of RwandAir should carry on their support and take RwandAir to the next level.
Ms. Makolo in her response thanked Chance Ndagano for his contribution towards the growth of the airline. “It has been a pleasure and honor working with you to grow the airline.” She also added “I also appreciate the support of our line Ministry and the board of directors and look forward to continuing working with you in this new position.”
The Minister of State Eng. Uwihanganye also thanked the outgoing CEO for his contribution and promised the new CEO the Ministry’s full support in her new responsibilities to make RwandAir an airline of obvious choice in the market.
