Hanoi to be next Ethiopian destination

Ethiopian Airlines, the largest network operating carrier in Africa, and one of the world’s
fastest-growing airline brands, is delighted to announce the commencement of a new four
times weekly passenger service to Hanoi, Vietnam, starting from 10th of July 2025. This new
route will further enhance Ethiopian Airlines’ global connectivity and provide convenient
travel options for passengers traveling between Africa and Southeast Asia.

The commencement of this flight will provide an essential link between Addis Ababa,
Ethiopian Airlines’ hub, and Hanoi, catering to both business and leisure travellers. This
new service aims to enhance trade, tourism, and cultural exchange between Vietnam and
Ethiopia, while also facilitating connections to Ethiopian Airlines’ extensive network
across Africa, Europe, and the Americas.

This new route enhances global connectivity by providing a direct link between Africa
and Southeast Asia, reinforcing Ethiopian Airlines’ strategic expansion. It strengthens
Ethiopian’s position as the largest and most connected airline in Africa, offering seamless
travel to various destinations via Addis Ababa. Additionally, it boosts trade and
investment opportunities between Vietnam and African nations, while offering
passengers more efficient one-stop connections. This move further solidifies Ethiopian
