The Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN) has hosted the 7th edition of the Nigeria Tourism Investors Forum and Exhibition (NTIFE) from November 21–22, 2024, in the nation’s capital, Abuja. With the theme, “Sustainable Funding and Investment: Renewed Hope for Tourism in Nigeria,” the forum has brought together key stakeholders, investors, and policymakers to explore transformative strategies for revitalizing Nigeria’s tourism sector through sustainable financing and investments.
During the event, the Director-General of the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC), Obi Asika, visited the Hospitality and Tourism Management Association of Nigeria (HATMAN) exhibition stand. This visit underscores the administration’s commitment to fostering innovation and driving progress in Nigeria’s tourism narrative.
At the HATMAN stand, the association’s National President, Dr. Lilian Managwu, presented a complimentary copy of the HATMAN Journal to Obi Asika, highlighting the association’s dedication to promoting professional excellence and academic contributions to the hospitality and tourism sectors. Dr. Managwu also acknowledged the continuous support of the Board of Trustees (BOT) Chairman, whose unwavering dedication has been pivotal in elevating HATMAN as a vibrant and impactful professional body.
