| A Darlington grandmother who was raised in Kenya is releasing a children’s book to help save elephants. Jaci Stroud, from Heighington, has written ‘The Elephant and the Bee’ and is passionate about conversation work. The 62-year-old spent much of her childhood in Kenya and Bangladesh and wants to raise awareness that elephant populations are in decline due to poaching and a shrinking habitat. |
