Following shortly after the launch of Kenya’s first Double Tree by Hilton has the global hotel giant brought another first to Kenya when the doors of the new Hilton Garden Inn at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport were opened yesterday.
Director of Sales Liz Tapawa, who joined from her previous position at the Jacaranda Hotel, confirmed the opening of the new property, which is not only close to the international airport but almost directly across from the new SGR railway station from where the trains to the coastal port city of Mombasa leave and arrive.

The new hotel offers guests a wide range of amenities and will no doubt swiftly establish itself as a choice location under an international hotel brand, close to the airport but also the Nairobi National Park.
175 rooms and suites make the hotel particularly suitable for large groups coming to Kenya for a classic safari while business travelers will enjoy the vicinity to the international airport. Free shuttles to and from JKIA are provided for guests, another advantage over the competition where guests have to use a cab at their own expense to get there.

With another Hilton property coming up on Upper Hill, close to the Central Business District of Nairobi, does the global hotel giant now have three different brands in the Kenyan capital as their rollout of new hotels across the continent continues.
