It is with the greatest sadness that I have to confirm the passing of Hussein Jiwani of Nairobi / Kenya.
I have known Hussein for many many years and we have in the past regularly worked hand in hand to promote tourism to Kenya, to East Africa and to Africa in general.
Having known his parents Nev and Mansoor since my early days in Kenya, the entire Jiwani family was connected with me, not just on social media but in real life too. Always warm and friendly he was someone to turn to for advice and a professional opinion on all matters tourism.
Hussein worked as the Managing Director at Go Places Tours & Travel / Go Places Africa DMC / Go Places Holidays, was a Director at Go Places Tours & Travel / Go Places Africa DMC / Go Places Holidays and also served as Group Marketing & PR Director at Go Places Digital. He was a very important part and key element in the family business.
His most untimely passing will leave a huge gap in the Jiwani family, in the family business and in Kenya’s tourism circles.
To his mother Nev, to his father Mansoor and the rest of the Jiwani family my and the ATCNews’ team sincere condolences and deepest sympathy. No amount of words can take the pain away, not now, not ever as I myself well know but at least you know your friends are mourning Hussein with you!
We offer our prayers and wish the Jivani family strength and God’s guidance duing these trying hours, days and weeks ahead.
May Hussein’s soul rest in eternal peace!
