Media personnel are invited to attend the International Air Transport Association’s 37th IATA Ground Handling Conference (IGHC) in Nairobi, Kenya from the 13 -15 May in the Kenyatta International Convention Centre.
Keynote speakers from the aviation industry include: The President of the Republic of Kenya, His Excellency Dr William Samoei Ruto, IATA’s Director General, Willie Walsh, and the Chief Executive Officer of Kenya Airways, Allan Kilavuka. The theme of the event will be ‘Elevate’ – modernizing operations, investing in workforce development, and strengthening coordination and collaboration to improve performance.

Media Registration
There is no registration fee for media to attend IGHC and you are invited to stay for the full conference; however, you are requested to pre-register. The media code for IGHC is – IGHC2025MEDIA
Please follow these instructions for easy online registration:
Step 1: Click here to access the IGHC Registration page.
Step 2: Complete the online registration as prompted registering as ‘media’
Step 3: On the Payment page, insert the discount code IGHC2025MEDIA to tender a $0 balance tender a $0 balance.
Step 4: Click “Apply” and then “Finish”.
Step 5: Once confirmed as media, your registration details will be sent across.
