Who are they? What makes them qualified to facilitate this course?

 

Meet Neil May, one of the instructors for Human Factors in Aviation.

Neil May is a senior leader with over 30 years of experience heading large operational and corporate teams. Recognized as an industry leader in driving improved human performance in air traffic control, Neil has served as Director of Human Performance at NATS, the UK’s leading provider of air traffic control services, where he led a team of 28 human factors specialists. He also was appointed as co-chair of the Human Performance Management Working Group of the Civil Air Navigation Services Organization (CANSO), a global industry body.
Neil became an IATA instructor in 2021, adding to his role as a consultant for Baines Simmons. Currently, he is also Managing Director at Impactful Human Performance.
Neil holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Warwick, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Dundee.
