ICAO Global Aviation Gender Summit

(Posted 28th February 2026)

I know you understand that the underrepresentation of women in the aviation workforce limits the ability to draw on the full range of talent needed for the industry’s sustainable future.

To address this critical need, the ICAO Global Aviation Gender Summit 2026, which will take place in Luanda, Angola, from 21 to 23 July, will explore how to support greater participation of women across the aviation sector.

Organizations can participate in the event by contributing insights and forming strategic partnerships to accelerate women’s empowerment in aviation through event sponsorships, exhibitor booths, and Skytalks presentations.

These available opportunities are limited; so interested organizations should submit an expression of interest form or schedule a meeting with me at their earliest opportunity.

Attendees will include senior officials from:

  • ICAO Member States
  • Civil Aviation Authorities (CAAs)
  • Government Ministries (e.g., transport, education, labour)
  • Airlines and Airports
  • Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs)
  • Aviation Manufacturers
  • Academic Institutions and Training Organizations
  • Workers’ Organizations and Professional Associations
  • UN Entities and International Organizations
  • Research Institutions and Think Tanks
  • Youth Delegates and Civil Society Representatives

If your organization can’t participate in the ICAO Global Aviation Summit 2026 as a sponsor, exhibitor, or Skytalks presenter, we invite and encourage you to register as an attendee.

We look forward to partnering with you to broaden opportunities for women in the aviation industry!

Your comments are welcome and will receive a response in due course.
