(Posted 04th March 2015)
ITB 2015 is going underway today in Berlin and Reunion’s team, led by IRT, will no doubt make waves in their quest to attract ever more visitors to the island.
Yet, with one trade show opening has IRT already set its sights on the Paris Golf Show, which takes place in the French capital between 19th and 21st of March.
The 2014 edition saw over 26.500 visitors jam the show to check out the latest equipment but even more important, learn about easy to reach destinations where golf can be played year round.
Reunion, a French region in the deep of the Indian Ocean, is of course a picture perfect place to do that, without ever having to leave France, or the European Union for that matter – many of the show visitors come from neighbouring countries – as the summer weather on Reunion during the cold and wet European winters is as inviting as it comes.
Air Austral, the home airline of Reunion, as well as other airlines fly several times a day between French destinations and Reunion’s Roland Garros International Airport in the capital St. Denis.
On Friday 20th ofMarch will IRT invite the specialized press for a media briefing followed by a cocktail, from 11am onwards at the IRT stand. Media representatives and other guests will have the opportunity to learn about and ask questions about the next Reunion Open Golf Championship.
The 2015 edition of the Open de La Reunion, which will take place from 27th of November to the 05th ofDecember and details will appear soon on www.reunion.fr
