The Seychelles based Zil Pasyon luxury resort on Felicite Island is among the properties which changes hands recently in a 300 million US Dollar buyout of the luxury hotel group by the InterContinental Hotels Group after former owners Pegasus Capital divested of the hospitality arm of their businesses.
The sale includes hotels and resorts in 15 other locations besides three dozen Spas and related ventures.
Zil Pasyon, located on Seychelles’s Felicite Island, the fifth largest of the sprawling archipelago, comprises 30 private villas and has repeatedly been included in the top ten of Seychelles’ leading resorts.
The deal gives IHG an entry into the Seychelles, one of the world’s most sought after luxury islands destinations and the marketing power of IHG has been broadly welcomed by Seychelles’ tourism industry.
