This year draws to a close 25 years of African Safaris, 10 years of touring operations in Asia, and our first year in South America expanding from Chile and Argentina to Peru and Ecuador.

Here’s what to look forward to in 2017:

• Extensive refurbishment of suites and guest areas at &Beyond Phinda Rock Lodge
• After the successful rebuild of the tented suites at &Beyond Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp, the refurbishment of guest areas is next – a new welcome area, pool area, massage sala, interactive food and coffee bar, and a new boma
• &Beyond Bateleur Camp in Kenya’s Masai Mara is scheduled for a complete refurbishment in November 2017
• First planned departure dates for &Beyond’s Private Jet Expeditions
• The new Oceans Without Borders project shifts focus onto our island properties and care of the marine environment
• Fundraising continues for the award-winning Rhinos Without Borders project, with more rhino translocations planned for the early part of 2017 from areas in South Africa that are at high risk from poachers to the relative safety of Botswana
