| The Joint Aviation Authorities Training Organisation (JAA TO), the leading non-profit aviation training organisation providing top-level training courses in multiple fields of aviation safety, and AviAssist, Africa’s only independent and also non-profit organisation dedicated solely to the safety improvements in African aviation, have announced a partnership to further expand the AviAssist Safety Promotion Centre (ASPC) in Rwanda.
The partnership aims to establish a long-term mutually beneficial association in capacity building on aviation skills as well as business and leadership skills at the foreseen ASPC in Rwanda.
The ASPC-Rwanda is geared to become (East) Africa’s leading aviation safety resource centre, making Rwanda and States in the East and Southern African ICAO region more self-sufficient at safety promotion. The centre imparts training and safety training that is crucial to support aviation experts in their role as safety leaders and champions.

The signing was witnessed by Rwandair’s Hellen Ndichu, Board Member of the AviAssist Foundation. RwandAir is one of the fastest growing airlines in Africa and is a co-founding partner of the ASPC-Rwanda.
