#KENYA’S LEADING LOW COST CARRIER RETIRES LAST BOEING B737

With the last of Jambojet’s Boeing B737-300’s returned to parent corporation Kenya Airways is the airline now flying an exclusive fleet of Bombardier Q400NextGen’s.
As a result of the smaller aircraft has Jambojet announced that the number of flights between Nairobi and Mombasa – and vice versa – is being increased from the present 22 per week to 39 flights per week. Jambojet will now fly as often as 6 times a day between the country’s capital and main port city.
The lakeside city of Kisumu, previously served twice a day, will also see flights increase from 14 to now 20, i.e. literally three times a day, which offer wider choices vis a vis departure times.
Overall, considering all destinations, will a further 29 departures be added including to destinations like Eldoret.
The airline uplifted over 2 million passengers since its launch.
