*Please note that these schedules may be subject to change.
The airline has, since going ‘live’ on the reservation systems on the 27th of February, raked in some 15.000 bookings and in a clear sign of positively impacting the market in Kenya, generated nearly 40.000 ‘likes’ and perhaps even more important, nearly 13.000 ‘talking about this’ on their Facebook page, with more and more ‘coming on board’ ahead of the flight launch on 01st of April.
One regular source in fact already created the April’s Fools Day joke of the year when writing in advance what he will say to a friend in Mombasa on the 01st of April ‘I just flew in from Nairobi at a price of 2.850 Kenya Shillings’, which of course will be the truth no matter how unbelievable it may sound. (2.850 Kenya Shillings is the equivalent of about 32 US Dollars).
Aviation observers are now awaiting word from Kenya Airways about their new schedule come 01st of April, as it is obvious that – while they already announced the suspension of flights to Eldoret – there is more to come in regard of downsizing their own flights from Nairobi to Mombasa and Kisumu to ‘make way’ for the flights of their in house low cost carrier Jambojet. Please consider those flying from Mombasa to Kisumu via Nairobi on the same day.
Have checked the fair from tomorrow are from 8,000 9,000 is this cheap for one way?
When you book a day prior to travel the fare can reach that level, however, when you book long enough in advance you can get the fare of 2.850 KShs.
