It has now been confirmed that Julian Edmunds, former long serving CEO of Tanzania’s Coastal Aviation, has retired from the Chairmanship of Atta, short for the African Travel and Tourism Association. He was appointed on the 01st of May 2017 and has been part of a team which has propelled Atta to greater heights and initiated a series of promotional and marketing events under its own banner.
This correspondent thanks Julian for the excellent cooperation extended during his term office and prior to that when serving on the board as a member.
Julian, according to information received, is being succeeded by Fiona Jeffery, best known for her role in managing WTM between 1986 and 2013. Fiona served on the board of Atta for the past few years already in the capacity of Industry Relations Director.

A warm welcome and all the best to Fiona in her new role as Chairperson of Atta.
