Zimbabwe: Gonarezhou and Malilangwe
Otherworldly Gonarezhou National Park is one of the wildest, most beautiful parks in Zimbabwe, with its rich landscape of sandy terrain, woodland and sandstone cliffs stretching seemingly forever. And just to the north is the Malilangwe estate, where Singita Pamushana lodge sits at the heart of an eco-tourism project that supports tens of thousands of people. Emma Gregg’s article was published in our Summer 2015 issue (#71). Here is a gallery of photographs from the region, that weren’t published in the magazine. |

And don’t forget, if you love Africa, subscribe or renew your subscription without delay and be in with a chance to WIN "Small One"
If you subscribe, renew, or extend your subscription to TRAVEL AFRICA magazine for two years or more before the 21st of March, 2016, you’ll go in the draw to WIN this bronze resin elephant sculpture, courtesy of UK artist Julia Cassels (www.juliacassels.com), worth GB£750.
This wonderful little elephant is part of a limited edition of just 18, and measures about 14cm in height. Julia drew her inspiration for the sculpture when she was in South Luangwa National Park, Zambia, last year, and she says "He was always messing around, going from one adult to the next, vying for their attention. He’s called "Small One" because he was so young, and couldn’t even control his own trunk yet!" |
