The Kampala Capital City Authority has confirmed that they will launch the official countdown for the revived Kampala Festival on the 16th of August, at which time they will also announce the dates the festival will be held later this year.
The last edition of the popular festival was held in 2018 but subsequent attempts to restage the festival all failed due to a number of reasons such as budget challenges, the COVID19 pandemic and lack of leadership.
