The Kampala Serena Hotel and Conference Centre, one of Uganda’s leading hospitality businesses, has seen a change at the helm.
Following the departure of Mr. Daniel Kang’u late last year has Mr. Khaled Helmy been appointed as the new General Manager.
He re-joins Serena Hotels – where he already worked from 2006 to 2008 – from the Washington DC area, where he served in top positions for the past 8 years,
Prior to that Khaled also held similar positions in Egypt, the UAE, India and Thailand.
ATCNews extends a warm welcome to Khaled and wishes him the best of success in his new position.
Meanwhile was it also learned that the Kampala Serena Hotel’s Director Food and Beverages Mr. James Odenyo, has also left Kampala and is reportedly on transfer to one of Serena’s Tanzanian properties. Once a replacement has been named will ATCNews inform readers.
