While some works at key Kampala intersections is already ongoing since earlier this week will yet more work commence Monday next week as per the notice by the Kampala Capital City Authority (shown below) explains.
The works will have an immediate impact on traffic flow and, until completed by end of August, will initially increase congestion and jams in the city.
Road users are advised to avoid the area or use alternative routes around these areas, especially during the morning and evening rush hour.
Meanwhile are roadworks elsewhere in the city nearing completion, especially the fly overs around the Clock Tower area, hopefully helping to decongest notorious traffic jam hotspots and bringing relief to road users in Kampala.
