| Nampese village, under Chief Mola’s jurisdiction, Nyaminyami Rural District Council (NRDC), has been thrown into uncertainty as repeated elephant incursions into farming areas force villagers to abandon their maize fields for fear of serious injury or death. According to Kariba Binoculars, a local new blog, the elephants are reportedly straying into the fields as early as 3pm, significantly increasing the risk of human–wildlife encounters during daylight hours. |
