Kenya Airways’ ‘Change for Change’ makes a difference for the Born Free Foundation

KENYA AIRWAYS AND BORN FREE FOUNDATION REVAMP COOPERATION

(Posted 01st March 2014)

To celebrate the 30th ‘birthday’ of the Born Free Foundation on the 21st of March has Kenya Airways and Virginia McKenna, the lead actress in the Oscar winning classic film ‘Born Free’ once again joined hands to make the already intense working relationship yet more effective.

Kenya Airways offers passengers the option to dispose of small change – or big change – in a programme called ‘Change Brings Change’ with the proceeds going to a number of causes including the conservation efforts of the Born Free Foundation.

With Kenya’s tourism industry to a very large extent being wildlife based it is obvious that the national airline is getting involved in a variety of programmes to support anti poaching and conservation efforts across the country, and the partnership with the Born Free Foundation is a prime example of how cooperation brings about change for the better and has helped to raise tens of thousands of dollars in the process.
