FLIGHT DISRUPTIONS AT KENYA AIRWAYS PROMPT PUBLIC STATEMENT

Flight disruptions earlier today hit Kenya Airways resulting in a number of services to be either delayed or having to be cancelled altogether.
As a result did the carrier issue a statement just an hour ago to calm stormy waters as their passengers have taken to Twitter and other social media:

July 29 2017, Nairobi 12.55pm……Kenya Airways is currently facing operational disruption due to flight crew constraints. The airline advises that some flights maybe cancelled or delayed. Our guests remain our highest priority and we will endeavor to ensure any affected guests are rebooked on other flights.
We urge our guests to keep checking the status of their flights through our contact center and social media.
