GREAT RIFT VALLEY LODGE AND GOLF RESORT NAMED AS KENYA’S BEST

The World Golf Awards Gala, held last weekend at the Algarve in Portugal, recognized three winners from Kenya during their 2015 Award Ceremony.
Tobs Golf Safaris was named as Kenya’s leading inbound golf tour operator while the Muthaiga Club in Nairobi was named as Kenya’s best course, something golfers will no doubt argue over in coming weeks.
Notably though was the Heritage Hotels managed Great Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort named as Kenya’s best golf resort operation, and CEO Mohammed Hersi wasted no time to put the news out on the social media.
‘?#?WhyILoveKenya: We are honoured that our Golf resort The Great Rift Valley Lodge & Golf Resort has been voted the best Golf resort in Kenya . Congratulations are in order. Well done Njenga & Team’ was his message to the resort staff, recognizing what they did over the past year to make the cut and lift such a prestigious trophy.
The resort is located in Kenya’s Rift Valley between lakes Naivasha and Elementaita and offers year round golfing to aficionados of the game.
Meanwhile back home in Uganda has the team running Serena Hotels’ new Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort vowed to do all they can over the next twelve months to become Uganda’s flagbearer and return from the 2016 World Golf Award Gala also with a trophy.
