Effective 01st of January will Kenya remove all Visa requirements for visitors to the country although a fee of 30 US Dollars will be introduced to obtain an electronic travel authorization, which has to be processed on line with payments done on line too.
What was initially suggested to be a Visa Free travel to Kenya from citizens of all African countries has now emerged to become a free entry card for citizens from all countries around the world.
The move is expected to benefit both tourism as well as trade of Kenya with other countries as entry to the country can now literally be done last minute, as long as the ETA has been filed for, paid for, obtained and the confirmation email been received.
It is hoped that other countries across the African continent but especially in East Africa, countries like Uganda and Tanzania, will soon follow suit to match the trail blazing move taken by Kenya.
