KENYA TOURISM ASSURES FRENCH MARKET OF VISITOR SAFETY
(Posted 30th September 2014)
Top Resa, France’s premier tourism trade show, which ended in Paris last week, saw a significant presence from the Kenya private sector and the tourism board, courting one of Europe’s biggest source markets for tourists travelling abroad.
With Kenya Airways now flying five times a week between Nairobi and Paris, using their state of the art B787-8 Dreamliner, nonstop connections between the two countries give French tourists easy access to Nairobi, the national parks and game reserves upcountry and the beaches north and south of Mombasa.
The Kenya Tourism Board made sure that enough time for B2B contacts was available for those promoting the country and held a cocktail function bringing together the French tourism industry’s who is who.
In a statement received from KTB did the organization leave no doubt that they will spare no effort to have French visitors return en masse to Kenya:
