KENYA COURTS UGANDAN TOURISM TRADE AND MEDIA

Kampala’s Imperial Royale Hotel is the venue for a Saturday afternoon session where key staff of the Kenya Tourism Board will meet local media representatives and members of Uganda’s tourism industry.
KTB recently announced the 2017 dates for the Magical Kenya Travel Expo in October and is keen, well ahead of the event, to make sure Uganda is fully briefed on what will take place in Nairobi.
Uganda has become one of Kenya’s leading ‘suppliers‘ of tourists, to a large part spurred by the dropping of Visa requirements for duly registered expatriates but also as a result of good package prices for tours to the Kenya coast.
Here is is both Kenya Airways, with five flights a day out of Entebbe and connecting in Nairobi and RwandAir, flying three times a week via Kigali to Mombasa, which have affordable airfares giving travelers great value for money.
Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda have put into place also a common tourist Visa which allows foreign tourists to visit all three countries at a reduced fee of just 100 US Dollars compared with individual Visa fees of 50 US Dollars each.
