Ethiopian Airlines makes history with Airbus A350

The world’s newest, most modern and efficient aircraft, the Airbus A350 XWB (extra-wide body), made its East African debut, arrived at Addis Ababa’s Bole International Airport. Its visit is a precursor to the delivery of Ethiopian Airlines’ first A350-900 aircraft in the second quarter of next year and it will be the first Africa’s first A-350 service.

As part of its ongoing fleet expansion and modernisation strategy, Ethiopian Airlines has ordered a fleet of 14 of the all-new mid-size long range A350-900s which mark the carrier’s first ever Airbus purchase.
