#Kenya’s Salt Lick Lodge gets major upgrade

CONFIDENCE IN FUTURE TOURISM RECOVERY SEES SALT LICK OWNERS INVEST IN NEW BATHROOMS

(Posted 25th April 2021)

The owners of Salt Lick Safari Lodge are set to improve guest experience and overall comfort in the bathrooms of the lodge and will be carrying out a complete refurbishment of the water piping and reticulation system at the same time.

It will also involve upgrades to enhance the overall shower experience while at the same time installing a new system that will help avoid wasting water. Reducing waste water is a major objective of the investment.

This upgrade is confined to one wing where all rooms are being enhanced and which is currently closed with the other guest room wing remaining fully operational.

This work will take around 60 days and already started on the 15th of April /2021.

This project will be carried in two phases to improve both wings of the lodge. One wing will remain open while work goes on in the other wing. During the renovation, work will commence from 08.00 hrs to 17.00 hrs daily. As a result, there will be some construction noise audible across the lodge.

Salt Lick Safari Lodge continually strives to be the best Safari Lodge in the region.
Despite the challenges facing global tourism are the lodge owners very optimistic that travel will resume sooner rather than later, hence their desire that guests find a refreshed and renewed product on their return to this exceptional property.

The owners are fully committed to continuously improving their three brands The Salt Lick Safari Lodge, The Taita Hills Safari Resort and The Wildlife Sanctuary to be leaders in the greater Tsavo Ecosystem.
