Kenya’s Tourism Board issues PR tender document for global bids

KENYA TOURISM SEEKS GLOBAL PR FIRMS TO HELP PROMOTE THE COUNTRY

The Kenya Tourism Board earlier today published a tender document, asking for expressions of interest and bids to become one of several regional PR firms around the world, covering key markets like the US and Canada, Britain, Germany and Switzerland, Italy, the GCC countries but also China and India.

The bid winning firms are expected to develop and manage/execute the destination PR programs as well as manage Business Development within key markets respectively as outlined in liaison with the KTB headquarter teams.

Notably will proposals submitted by email or fax NOT be accepted and the original bid documents need to be deposited latest by 27th of June 2017 at noon sharp, before the documents will then immediately be publicly opened in the presence of such bidder’s who chose to attend in person or by representative.
The move is part of a revised strategy by KTB to seek a more global profile in key existing but also emerging markets with the aim to substantially increase visitor numbers to the country.
